College Prep Evaluation $175
Formal, written evaluation of your current pitching abilities by Erica, a long-time college head coach who has spent the last 35 years playing and coaching the game of softball as a former pitcher herself. May be used as qualification for our future college-prep pitching school class. The evaluation will take place on Tuesday evenings of 2/04, 2/18, 3/04, 3/18
Here are two new potential opportunities through Practice Pro!
The first opportunity is for ANY pitcher that wants to receive a formal, written evaluation of your current pitching abilities by Erica, a long-time college head coach who has spent the last 35 years playing and coaching the game of softball as a former pitcher herself.
EVALUATION DETAILS:
Who? This is for any pitcher who wishes to receive a written evaluation of their current pitching mechanics and abilities by Erica.
What? You will receive a “report card” on each aspect of pitching that details your strengths, weaknesses, limitations, and wow factors.
What can make you great that is unique to your style, mechanics, and abilities?
What are some marked areas of improvement that need to be targeted for the most immediate uptick in your growth and productivity?
When? The evaluation will take place on Tuesday evenings of 2/04, 2/18, 3/04, 3/18
Because Erica is traveling to and from New Buffalo, Michigan to offer this evaluation, and facilities needed to be secured, at this time 2/04, 2/18, 3/04, 3/18 are the only dates and time-blocks that we can offer this opportunity.
Go to the registration link at the bottom of this email to sign up, choose your preferred date/time, and submit payment. Abby will contact you on a rolling basis to confirm your time.
Where? Niles at 5731 N. Howard
Why? Many reasons; here’s three!
Because Erica sees hundreds of pitchers a year at the high school (through recruitment) and college level and will be able to give you earnest feedback about where you are now to assist in clarifying your focus and reinvigorating your goals.
You will be able to share your written evaluation with Coach Abby & her Practice Pro team of coaches to help them implement your personalized needs into pitching school
You will be able to share your written evaluation with your school and/or travel coach to help them assist you in games when it comes to mechanical cues and best pitch-calling practices for your skills in particular.
How? Go to the registration link at the bottom of this email to sign up, choose your preferred date/time, and pay the corresponding fee: a one-time cost of $175. If you would like a full video analysis included, also add the $75 addition to your cart. Abby will contact you shortly thereafter to confirm your specific time/date. Don’t forget to bring your own catcher!
The second opportunity is a College-Prep pitching class. It will be for INTERMEDIATE or ADVANCED pitchers with a heightened motivation to advance their skills to the next level in a new and unique class offered by Erica in the second quarter of 2025 (8 weeks from April-May). This will be an invitation-only class for pitchers who are able to attend the evaluation, and who meet the minimum criteria for this particular course. To be eligible for consideration, you must attend an evaluation session with Erica on 2/04, 2/18, 3/04, 3/18. Read below for more information. . This evaluation could lead to a special invitation into a brand new (and limited opportunity) Practice-Pro pitching class with Erica in the early part of 2025. However, you may sign up to receive the evaluation regardless of whether you are selected for participation into the new College-Prep pitching class.
What are the specifics of the class?
COLLEGE PREP PITCHING CLASS DETAILS:
Who? This is for any pitcher who attends an evaluation on 2/04, 2/18, 3/04, 3/18 and is an intermediate or advanced level pitcher and is interested in this new and limited opportunity. This class will be for advancing pitchers who are committed to doing something special in high school, travel ball, and/or who are seriously considering (or have already decided) that they want to pitch in college.
What? Though you will find the same high-quality organization that you experience in your current Practice-Pro classes, the structure and content will vary in this College Prep Pitching Class. There will be fewer participants per class, higher-difficulty competitions, increased discipline and accountability, and an overarching goal to increase your ability under higher-stakes pressure situations.
When? We will only be offering these College Prep pitching classes on Tuesdays, spanning 8 weeks, April - May
Where? TBD. We will use the evaluation on 2/04, 2/18, 3/04, 3/18 to garner numbers, ability, and interest in each location. If you attend the 2/04, 2/18, 3/04, 3/18 evaluation and are considered an intermediate or advanced pitcher, you will be considered for this limited class, regardless of where you live.
Why? Because Erica is a seasoned coach who can help you prepare for an elite level of performance at the next level. She understands the expectations that face a travel ball, high school, and college pitcher. She wants to prepare you now for what is to come should you choose to pitch at a high level of travel, high school, or college softball.
How? Sign up at the link below for the evaluation on 2/04, 2/18, 3/04, 3/18. Then, registration for this class will open in early December alongside the other Practice Pro classes; you will be able to sign-up then. The cost for this class will be $740. Erica will be the lead instructor for each of these classes.
